The Garden Valley Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that distributes free food and personal care items to families in the Garden Valley/Lowman area. GVFP is partnered with the Idaho Food Bank and assisted by local community members and organizations. GVFP is open for distribution from 3:30-5:00 pm on the second and fourth Fridays of every month at Calvary Chapel in Garden Valley. Calvary Chapel supplies storage, coolers, and freezers. Shipment of food arrives about an hour before distribution from the Idaho Food Bank's main facility in Boise. It is picked up, delivered, and stocked by local volunteers.
Volunteers are welcome, as well as financial and food donations. Monetary donations can be made on the ‘Give Online’ link on this page (above) or mailed to Calvary Chapel of Garden Valley, PO Box 408, Garden Valley, ID 83622. Food donations can be left at the Garden Valley Market in our donation bin, or you can call, and we will meet you at Calvary.
Hours of operation:
3:30-5 p.m., every second and fourth Friday.

Every day, 1 in 6 Idahoans struggles with hunger and food insecurity. 1 in 4 is under the age of 18. On your next shopping trip, you can help end hunger by supporting the GVFB. Consider giving to the GVFB; your donations make a tangible difference every day. Donations of food are welcome, either during hours of operation or they may be left in the donation box at the Garden Valley Market.
